Weekly Services
All weekly student services are held in the youth building, Building G. This is the trailer closest to to Five Forks Trickum, next to Children's Theater.
Wednesday Night
At Brookwood Students, the goal of Wednesday night services is to introduce students to the Gospel, develop a love for the Word of God, enjoy the fellowship of other Christian believers, encounter God in worship, and come to a greater understanding of who God is and who He created us to be. A Wednesday night service traditionally includes cafe, a game, worship, and teaching.
Cafe
Every Wednesday, cafe opens at 6:00 PM. The menu changes weekly, but it typically consists of either pizza, Wendy's hamburgers or tacos. Regardless of menu, $2.50 will be sufficient to feed a student. In addition, first-time guests always eat free.
Schedule
- 6:00 PM - Cafe
- 6:45 PM - Worship
- 7:15 PM - Teaching
- 8:00 PM - Students Dismissed
Sunday Morning
Sunday morning services for the students coincide with the Adult Bible Study Groups. The student bible study groups begin at 9:00 AM with a designated large group and prayer time. By 9:15 AM, the students are in their classes, which are separated by grades. Bible study groups are finished by 10:10 AM, which allows time for them to transition over to Worship in the Sanctuary. The student bible study groups are divided as follows:
- 6th-8th Grade Girls
- 6th-8th Grade Guys
- 9th-10th Co-Ed
- 11-12th Co-Ed
Our Bible Study Group Leaders are highly trained and equipped to teach on a student's level. Therefore, the Sunday Morning Bible Study Groups are a great opportunity for students to experience the church, the fellowship, and the fun in a controlled and exciting environment.
Sunday Evening
Periodically, Brookwood Baptist Church as a whole offers evening activities for families and individuals to edify and challenge them in their Christian walk. In the past, the student ministry has offered a class on How to Study the Bible and Who is God?, which were adapted from the curricula offered by Secret Church.
Students are currently participating in a study of Secret Church-The Old Testament. This video and curriculum series progressively walks students through the Old Testament to help them better understand how to read it, understand it, apply it, and grow from it. Please join us at 6:00 on the following Sunday evenings:
- February 21
- February 28
- March 21
- March 28
- April 11
