Last night, I went to a Bunco Game night at my daughter-in-law’s in our neighborhood. I have been praying that the Lord would give me opportunities to mix with neighbors and others who do not know Him. An interesting thing happened while I was there that I know was part of the answer to this ongoing prayer. One of the ladies, who I know quite well, brought up the fact that a daughter of one the members of this Bunco Team had been in a very serious car accident the day before. She is in critical condition at Grady. This family used to be our next door neighbors several years ago. The lady that mentioned it, looking at me, said, “We don’t usually do this at Bunco, but this is an unusual situation. Would you mind if we all joined hands and prayed for this daughter?” And, she asked me to pray; which I did, of course. I thank the Lord that I was able to lift up this young person and family to the Lord in a circle of 12 women. I don’t know how many of these women, if any, know Him. I pray that the Holy Spirit in some way spoke to each one of them. This is something the Lord did and I thank Him for the privilege of serving Him!
