We deeply value:
The Lordship of Christ
God is sovereign over all things, right in his judgement, with Christ as His perfect representation Who demands our sacrificial service. Therefore, we submit ourselves to God's will, both understood and yet to be revealed, and seek to glorify Jesus Christ in everything we do. (Hebrews 2:8-9, Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 2:10, Luke 9:23-25)
The Authority of the Bible
The Holy Bible was written by men who were chosen and divinely inspired by God to reveal His character, His love and His eternal truth to mankind. As such, we obey His Word as the complete, authoritative, infallible instruction for daily life and salvation through Jesus Christ. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Revelation 22:18-19)
The Trinity
The one true God exists equally and eternally as the Holy Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Therefore, we live according to the example of the Son, under the seal of the Spirit, and under the grace and mercy of the Father. (Galatians 4:4-6, 1 John 5:5-8, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Ephesians 1:13-14)
Salvation Through Christ
Out of His grace, God offers salvation to all people through faith in Jesus Christ. Because Christ is the only way to reconcile sinful man with a Holy God, we enter into a personal relationship with God. (John 3:16, Romans 3:21-26, 1 Peter 3:18, Romans 5:8)
Because we value the above, we strive to:
Worship
We worship God together, and as individuals, by setting our minds' attention and our hearts' affection on God through the study of the Bible, music and prayer. (Hebrews 13:15, 1 Chronicles 16:29, John 4:24, Psalm 56:1-4)
Fellowship
We choose to meet together regularly to cultivate meaningful relationships in order to encourage one another which strengthens us as individuals and as a church. (Hebrews 10:25, Ecclesiastes 4:12)
Love/Serve
Because we are loved by God, we desire to express love through acts of service that meet the physical, emotional, financial and spiritual needs of our church family, our community and our world. (John 13:34-35, Ephesians 6:7, 2 Corinthians 9:12)
Pray
We speak with and hear from God by praying individually and together, expressing our adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and requests for ourselves and others. (2 Chronicles 7:14, James 5:16, 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18, Philippians 4:16)
Preach/Teach
Out of reverence for God and His wisdom, we preach and teach the Bible to strenthen our faith, encourage our spirit, and motivate us to share God's message to the world. (2Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 4:12, Joshua 1:8)
Since we value the above:
We aspire, out of obedience to God's command and out of a deep concern for others, to share the message of Jesus Christ with our community, our nation and our world.
